Basketball fans in Indiana have a lot to look forward to. Caitlin Clark is set to return from her injury soon, and the Indiana Pacers are competing for the franchise’s first NBA championship.

During the Pacers’ playoff run, Caitlin Clark has been somewhat of a good-luck-charm for the team. With Clark in the building in Indianapolis, the Pacers are currently 8-0 in the playoffs. They hope to continue that streak, and with a Fever home game scheduled for Saturday, chances are that Clark will once again be in the building to support the Pacers.

This weekend will see a lot of great basketball in Indiana

On Saturday, the Fever will face the still-undefeated New York Liberty. With Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham sidelined, the Fever have struggled a bit.

They just suffered a tough loss to the Atlanta Dream and need to bounce back. Playing a better game against the reigning champions would be an important statement for the Fever. The Fever want to compete for a championship, and it is time they prove they can hang with the best teams in the league.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Clark’s return to the court, hoping that her presence will improve the Fever’s offense. The team is sorely missing her 3-point shooting, scoring, and playmaking.

While the matchup with New York is a big game, fans should keep their expectations for Clark in check if she returns. Clark won’t be in her best shape after a lengthy absence, and going up against defenders like Natasha Cloud, Leonie Fiebich, and Kennedy Burke is not a great situation for her first game back.

That matchup likely won’t be the only big game on Clark’s schedule, though. Game 4 of the NBA Finals will be a massive affair in Indianapolis on Friday. The Pacers are leading the Oklahoma City Thunder 2-1 and could give themselves a significant edge with a win on Friday. The Thunder and Pacers may not be in huge NBA markets, but both teams play great basketball, and the game will undoubtedly be thrilling. While Game 2 ended with a 16-point win for the Thunder, the other two games were close.

This weekend, fans won’t just be waiting to see if Clark will return for the Fever against the Liberty, but also to find out if she can keep her streak with the Pacers alive and be in the building for another big playoff win. As usual, Clark will be at the center of the basketball world.
