Fans have chosen clear favorite in made-up Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese rivalry

Fans have been casting WNBA All-Star votes since June 12 and as of Friday, June 20, Caitlin Clark leads the pack with a massive 515,993 votes. Napheesa Collier is in second place with 484,758 votes — and because we know you want to know, Angel Reese, Clark's on-again, off-again rival, is currently in 13th place with 173,363 votes.
After Clark and Collier, the top 10 is Aliyah Boston (446,961), A'ja Wilson (394,600), Breanna Stewart (367,819), Paige Bueckers (312,920), Kelsey Mitchell (277,664), Sabrina Ionescu (234,684), Lexie Hull (217, 438), and Kiki Iriafen (213,500).
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, July 19, at 8:30 pm ET. The game will also air live on ABC at the same time.
How All-Star voting works
After all the votes are tallied up, the players are ranked by position within fan votes, player votes, and media votes and the player's total score is averaged by way of weighted rank from the three categories. After that, the four guards and six frontcourt players with the best scores will be named as starters for this year's All-Star game.
After that, each of the WNBA's head coaches will choose 12 reserve players. Coaches are tasked with voting for three guards, five frontcourt players and four players at either position regardless of conference, and cannot vote for players on their own team. The two players who receive the most votes will act as captains and will draft their own rosters by choosing first from the remaining eight players in the pool of starters and then from the pool of 12 reserves.
Fans can vote once a day via the WNBA app and WNBA.com throughout the voting period, which concludes on June 28 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
The 2024 All-Star Game brought Clark and Reese together
Clark and Reese were teammates during last year's All-Star game, when the All-Stars defeated the Olympic Team 117-109. The pair were the first rookie duo to make All-Star since Chiney Ogwumike and Shoni Schimmel each earned the honors back in 2014. Ogwumike won Rookie of the Year that season and earned All-Star honors again in 2018, while Schimmel retired just four years after her appearance.
Team WNBA also included Clark's Fever teammates DeWanna Bonner (then playing for the Connecticut Sun), Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston. They were joined by Allisha Gray, Dearica Hamby, Brionna Jones, Jonquel Jones, Kayla McBride, Arike Ogunbowale, and Nneka Ogwumike.
