Hilarious interaction between Kelsey Plum and Caitlin Clark goes viral

Caitlin Clark might not have been playing during the Fever's game against the Sparks Thursday but she definitely wanted to — and that wasn't lost on Kelsey Plum, who attempted to have a tech called on the Fever star when one of her shoes crossed the sideline.
Clark, who was ruled out of the game due to a groin injury, but that didn't stop her from slipping right back into the Coach Clark role she fulfilled while out with a left quadriceps injury earlier this season. At one point both Clark and Plum were arguing with the same ref, which is when Plum noticed Clark had literally overstepped.

She motioned toward Clark and appeared to ask the ref to give her a tech, but the ref in question had no time for either player's shenanigans.
Some fans are blaming Coach White for Clark's injury
The news that Clark was injured for a second time was not received well by fans, many of whom pointed toward coach Stephanie White as at least a big part of the reason for the repeat disappointment. Things got worse for White after footage from the Fever's June 25 game against the Storm resurfaced.
White subbed Clark back into the game with only 16 seconds left on the clock. Clark fell after an attempted pass and was seen grabbing her left groin a bit afterward — the same area that fans later found out is injured.
The injury combined with the fact that Clark has been struggling in recent games has created an overall unpleasant taste in the mouths of many of the team's fans, who want to see Clark front and center doing what she does best. The Fever is battling a lot right now — the team has suffered multiple injuries, and the departure of DeWanna Bonner was abrupt and dramatic.
A lot of people are beginning to reexamine decisions White has made so far this season. White brings a certain style to coaching that is beginning to look like it might clash with the way that Clark (and the Fever) likes to play — fast and dynamic, with big shots and the opportunity to get the ball as much as she can.
The Fever are set to meet the Wings in Dallas Friday night, and the team has yet to announce if Clark will be on the court or not. Fans are certainly hoping to see her, but healing is the name of the game.
