Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried

I still think Lawson or Faried could be acquired. A video of Lawson smoking a hookah went viral on draft night, after the Nuggets selected point guard Emmanuel Mudiay with the 7th overall pick. Lawson on the video stated he was going to Sacramento.

Bird almost took Ty Lawson over teammate Tyler Hansbrough back in 2009, and could still be interested in the former North Carolina point guard.

Faried could fit into the Pacers vacancy at power forward, and help the goal of being a faster paced team. I really don’t like Faried’s contract though, and it’s appearing the Pacers idea of playing small will be at the power forward position. David West opting out, and the Pacers drafting a shot blocking center in the 1st round shows that.

The Nuggets could take a one year flier on Hibbert, while clearing more future cap space, as they look like a team ready to rebuild.
