Before he was signed by the Indiana Pacers, Glenn Robinson III represented the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League held in Las Vegas, Nevada. During Summer League action, “Trey ” averaged 11.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. He played in all six games for the Hawks starting one game. His performance in Atlanta’s surprise semi-final run in the Summer League was highlighted in the Atlanta Hawks Summer League Review by Jonathan Savitske of Fansided’s ATLAllDay:

"“Glenn Robinson III was the best athlete on the team but still showed holes in his shooting ability. The former Michigan standout was a late addition to the roster, but played big minutes in a bench role and demonstrated the ability to play on an NBA club. He is most likely the current favorite for the 15th spot on the Hawks roster.”"
