Indiana Pacers: Glenn Robinson III is Coming Home to Indiana
By Dave McKee
Robinson – also known as “Trey” – is heading into his second NBA season at only 21 years of age and is currently the second youngest player on the Indiana Pacers roster.
Robinson is an interesting addition to the Pacers roster as Gregg Doyel of the Indianapolis Star examined:
"“More curious is the move leaves Indiana with one player who has regularly played point guard in the NBA, George Hill. They will almost certainly bring additional point guards to training camp, but the team would have to release a player currently under contract to keep one.”"
I believe he joins Chase Budinger and C.J. Miles at small forward. His addition further validates the Indiana Pacers are committed to overhauling their roster into a true small-ball team. He is a mobile shot creator who attacks the rim which appears to be the core characteristic of the Pacers new vision for their back court.
