Colts Training Camp returns to the campus of Anderson University. Players report to Colts Training Camp and August 1st, and begins on August 2nd.

It’s official! Football season is back Colts fans. Even with all the excitement, the start of training camp may be somewhat of a somber time for Colts fans. This will be the first time in over a decade that camp begins without Reggie Wayne – a future Hall of Famer and the Indianapolis Colts all-time leader in wins – and his dramatic entrances. The Indianapolis Star’s Jordan Heck highlighted Wayne’s entrances  over the years.

More from Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck, entering his 4th season, is already on pace to become one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He is already considered the best quarterback of his generation and looks set to supplant the old guard in 2015. With Luck at the helm, the Colts have consistently improved progressing deeper into the playoffs every season. Now Luck and the Colts stand at the precipice of greatness.

This season looks to be the year that Andrew Luck completely removes himself from Peyton Manning’s shadow. It has been 6 years since their last Super Bowl appearance. After the 41-7 drubbing taken at the hands of the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship the Colts look to 2015 with an insatiable need for retribution.

Luck has already stated that he believes the Colts have a realistic chance at the Super Bowl. Luck told BritviewNFL.com he and his fellow Colts have one goal in mind. Dethroning the defending champions but cautioned that it is a 16 game season:

"They’re the kings of the league right now and everybody would like to de-throne them – we’d like to de-throne them but you have to look at the season as 16 games. There are fans and media who will hype up certain games and circle them in red on the calendar but, as a player, you lose sight of what’s important if you get into that mode.”"

With players reporting Saturday, August 1st, there are several questions that still surround the team. Despite the Super Bowl expectations, these questions remain heading into the season. There are position battles, rookies to watch, players on the bubble and the continuity of the offensive line to consider.

The entire Ink on Indy staff weighed these questions and concerns ahead of training camp and it is our pleasure to share these deliberations with you. With visions of Santa Clara in February in everyone’s mind, the Colts training camp is the first stepping stone in their path to Super Bowl 50 and the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
