Undrafted free agent Zack Hodges looks to stand apart among the rest of the outside linebackers.
Zack Hodges, is like Robinson in two distinct ways, he too has an inspiring story of rising above adversity and is competing for a roster spot at a very deep position.

In fact, according to spotrac.com, the Colts have spent more money on
than any other position group on the roster more than inside linebackers and quarterbacks combined.
Why does this matter to Hodges? With so much invested at the position there is less likelihood that the Colts keep more than five or six outside linebackers.
Currently Trent Cole, Robert Mathis, Bjoern Werner and Erik Walden and Jonathan Newsome are all expected to make the cut.
From a salary standpoint, the amount of dead cap space that would come with the release of either Werner or Walden makes it a moot point. There is no chance that Cole or Mathis are released. That leaves Hodges competing with the remaining OLBs to make the cut. Hodges needs to stand out from the pack if he wants to coerce the Colts into keeping six outside linebackers.
