Time after time, the Hoosiers failed to pressure the quarterback, and created no disruption whatsoever.
Against FIU, Ralph Green and Darius Latham helped the defense tremendously with more disruptive pressure because of their presence. Wilson highlighted the week heading into the FIU game the importance of getting vertical and creating more chaos in the opponent’s backfield.
It was clear Saturday night the return of Green and Latham made a huge impact. The Hoosiers sacked quarterback Alex McGough twice and pressured him several times.
