Latest Caitlin Clark injury update is extremely important for Lynx game

Caitlin Clark has missed time in recent action due to a groin injury. The Indiana Fever guard could be on the verge of returning soon, though. Clark is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Lynx, the Fever announced.
The only other player listed on the Fever's injury report is Damiris Dantas, who is not with the team due to a National Team obligation.
Caitlin Clark questionable to play vs. Lynx
Clark endured a slump before suffering the injury. The Fever have continued to be stuck in the middle of an up and down campaign overall. Their 8-8 record is good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. Indiana is certainly looking forward to Clark's return, regardless of whether it comes on Tuesday or a later date.
Clark, a 23-year-old guard, was selected as one of the two All-Star captains on Monday. The Fever will face the other captain, Napheesa Collier, on Tuesday night.
Caitlin's popularity has continued to impress and overall she's having a strong season. However, she is shooting just 39 percent from the field and 29.5 percent from beyond the arc. Clark's 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per outing are respectable, however.
She is still one of the better players in the WNBA. No, she is not performing at an MVP level, but Clark's production has been impactful. With that said, she has missed seven games due to injury this year. Clark appeared in all 40 total contests a season ago. She has been limited by injury concerns so far in the '25 season.
Fever preparing for matchup in Minnesota
The Fever are unquestionably hopeful that Clark will be able to return on Tuesday evening and stay healthy for the remainder of the season. Indiana will proceed with caution, though. The Fever will be hesitant to rush Clark back given the risk of further injury trouble. Still, there is clearly a chance that Clark ends up returning in Minnesota.
As for Indiana's game against Minnesota, tip-off is scheduled for Tuesday night at 8 PM EST. The 14-2 Timberwolves will attempt to protect home court against a Fever team that has been rather inconsistent for the most part throughout the 2025 campaign. Caitlin Clark's final injury status could prove to be pivotal in reference to determining the final outcome of the matchup. The Fever will provide updates ahead of tip-off on Tuesday night.
