Caitlin Clark's post-WNBA career becomes crystal clear after latest Fever game

Caitlin Clark has been sidelined for quite some time with a quad injury, which has left her to watch the Indiana Fever have some ups and downs in her absence from afar. It's been fun to see her integrated into head coach Stephanie White's coaching, though, allowing her to learn the game from the flip side in a way she's never been able to considering how healthy she's been her entire career.
Clark, though, is a pretty fired up competitor, which would logically translate to coaching pretty seamlessly. Sure enough, so far over this stretch of time where Clark's sat out for five games (potentially six, if she's unable to go versus the New York Liberty this Saturday), she's been barking just as much as White and her staff at perceived bad calls and at players after big plays.
During the Fever's recent loss to the Atlanta Dream that set them back in the Commissioner's Cup standings, Clark had a funny sideline moment while seemingly chatting with a ref about a call.

Clark is not calm. Not in the slightest. It's what adds to her competitiveness and the legend around her game, as she's often clearly unable to turn that side of her play off. So, her calmly attempting to communicate with refs on a play - with a ref that's actually taking her seriously as a coaching figure - is hilarious.
Clark is bound for a career in coaching, clearly
Clark could find a great career in coaching once she's done with basketball in, hopefully, quite a few years. Someone this basketball-obsessed makes for a great coach - think Cheryl Reeve, or even the NBA's Tom Thibodeau. The passion for the game plus Clark's ability to play it at such a high level would be a great pairing in a career in coaching down the line.

It's not the first time cameras have caught Clark coaching the team up in between timeouts, either. She'd previously been caught offering advice to teammates in their game against the Chicago Sky over the weekend, when they routed Chicago in Cup play.
As a point guard, it has to come naturally for someone like Clark to be able to speak with her teammates effectively. The floor general has to direct everything, and it's clear she's comfortable doing so both on and off the court for the Fever.
