Trades happen during WNBA All-Star team selections. They're silly and often have to do with players wanting friends or teammates on their squad after the selections are all said and done during a television special. This year, those trades have to be facilitated by Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier and, of course, Caitlin Clark.

Clark has made it very known that there's two players she's specifically targeting in this year's All-Star team draft, and it's the two players any Fever fan would know she's trying to get on her team: Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. And, she'll do what she has to to make sure they land with her.

“I think there's a high chance that Kels and AB will be on my team. I'm going to do everything I can to get those two. I might trade the rest of my team for those two. I'm excited, it will be a lot of fun. That's what the All-Star Game is for, giving the fans something to cheer about," said Clark during a Fever shoot around on Monday, ahead of her potential return to action after dealing with a groin injury for the last five games.

Mitchell, who was named a reserve, and Boston, who is a starter alongside Clark, are likely to be highly sought out by Clark and Collier. Mitchell has been on a tear lately, averaging 58.3 percent shooting from three point range, 22 points, and one steal per game in the month of July so far. After a typically slow start from her, she's looking like her normal self.

As for Boston, she's been consistent since game one. Hitting 60 percent of her shots from the field in July, she's also averaging 8.3 rebounds per game on the year in addition to 3.5 assists and 1.2 blocks. She's also leading the entire WNBA in field goal percentage at 59.7 percent from the field through 2.5 months so far, and she has the most points in the paint per game in the league with 12.6.

Clark, who has missed some major time this year but got a boost from fan votes, will be in control of her destiny in this year's All-Star game as a captain. It's a tough job being a general manager, especially when you have your pick of the best talent in the entire league, but Clark seems extremely up for the challenge.

It's meant to be a fun exercise, after all, for the WNBA's best players who get to captain their squads. But, something tells us that Clark is going to make it a serious mission to land her Fever teammates.
