Nike is reportedly set to soon announce a signature logo for Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark this coming holiday season, which means we will soon get a glimpse at Clark's branding with Nike around November or December of 2025.

That's a big step in the right direction for the sportswear giant, which has been criticized for not doing nearly enough to capitalize on the momentum of Clark's popularity so far this year. While the logo is finally getting a reported debut season, we've yet to get any news on her signature shoe.

That's about par for the course when it comes to Nike's WNBA athletes. It took quite a while for them to finally debut New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu's shoe, and even longer for them to give a shoe to three-time MVP A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces.

So, while Fever fans should be excited about this debut getting some sort of date, they shouldn't hold their breath about getting a shoe announcement shortly to follow.

Clark, the 2024 Rookie of the Year, has been a major marketing point for the WNBA since she entered the league last season. The long range shooter and incredible passer has been out for the last several games due to a quad injury, but regardless, has still been a draw given just how popular Indiana basketball is right now.

A former Nike marketing executive recently vocalized frustration with just how little the company had been advertising one of the biggest names in American sports, explaining that while it does take a while for the company to deliver on signature shoes for their WNBA clients, there should be pep in their step in regards to Clark given her draw.

A holiday release would give Clark an entire season to add onto her lore, so to speak, with the Fever. The WNBA doesn't play around November and December, and it's unclear whether Clark will take up Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier on their outstanding offer to join Unrivaled. So, we'll be getting a Clark logo after the Fever's first year with a "contending" roster and new head coach Stephanie White.

Given just how great Nike's rollouts have been for Wilson and Ionescu, though, the chances of Clark's logo reveal being full of theatrics are pretty high - and that's very exciting.
