Aliyah Boston is playing at an All-WNBA level despite Caitlin Clark's struggles

Aliyah Boston helped lift the Indiana Fever to 7-7 overall after a career high performance Tuesday night against the red-hot Seattle Storm. Her 31-point night couldn't have come at a better time. The Fever were in desperate need of something positive and were flirting with a win-less road trip after dropping their first two games.
The Fever have struggled to find any consistent rhythm all while still learning to play as a complete team that has many new faces. Boston has been building up to this level after finishing with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds in the team's loss to the Las Vegas Aces. It was clear she had no problem keeping up with A'ja Wilson defensively in that game, showing maturation in this area of her game.
Boston's teammate, Caitlin Clark, is struggling to put up points after finishing the west coast trip shooting a whopping one of 23 from three-point range. Despite Clark's shooting woes, Boston has made it clear that she is a dominant force for the Fever. The former first-round pick is averaging 15.9 points per game, which is a career high.
She is also draining an impressive 61.7% of her shot attempts. Along with her career high night in points against the Storm, she finished with 8 rebounds, 3 assist and 2 steals.

Aliyah Boston for All-WNBA is a real possibility
Aliyah Boston has claimed her rightful spot as being one of the top center's in the entire WNBA. It is clear now that her time in Unrivaled during the off-season has helped in every phase of her game.
Playing in a 3v3 league forced her to play with a fast pace and rely even more on her shooting. She's quicker, more confident and an even more noticeable force for opposing teams to game plan against. Her numbers are even comparable to that of Napheesa Collier, of the Minnesota Lynx, who is a leading candidate for league MVP.

Her defensive play has exposed her as a solid rim-protector where her block totals continue to increase each game. Boston is also known for solid rebounding on both ends of the floor. She is dominant in the paint and is one of the best at extending plays. She is looking to lead the way for the Fever's mid-season resurgence.
If she continues to put up big numbers, Boston can find herself in a position to win several league awards - Defensive Player of Year, All-Team WNBA, Offensive Player of the Year - to name a few.
Winning individual awards isn't the overall goal, but it sheds light on Boston's astonishing impact on her team's success. As of June 20, she is a front-runner for her second consecutive All-Star appearance sitting third in voting.
If the former 2023 Rookie of the Year recipient can remain consistent with her strong numbers, the Fever will find themselves in a favorable position for a deep playoff run.
